Love can be define into many words. A love to someone special. A love to our job. A love to our friend. Some says if you love someone you feel romantically or sexually attracted to them, and they are very important to you. However, love can be more broader than just feeling attracted to someone. I then described love as follows.
L - Listen; When we love someone it is very important to listen. What do i mean listen? Listen in a sense that we emphatically put ourselves to other person. We should seek first to understand and to be understood. It is not easy to do! Especially when you are in a situation wherein your pride filters everything the other person tries to convey. High level of trust is needed for this kind of love to work out.
O - Openness; If we love someone the truth of the matter is we become possessive. We always set rules for our love to work. Its good to set rules but it destroys our integrity, trust and openness to the one we love. The more we do this the more we show our insecurity in unconscious way. Therefore, always think win win. Not win loss! meaning I set the rules you follow me nor loss win. Meaning you do all the action and planning I'm just playing shadow to follow you. It should be win win..
V - Value; to add value and value our differences can help our love grow. How do you feel if someone appreciates your effort? How do you feel if someone understand you. How do you feel if this person is so supportive? Definitely, the synergy between you and your special someone will rapidly grow to its maximum momentum. We are not born perfect but the moment we're aware about our own mistakes and tries to work on it; we will be the change someone seeks. The secret is ask what value this person gives me?
E - Eager; Eager to look forward for your future. Look for a partner that can share a lifetime with you! A guy/girl who always speaks excuses isn't steadfast.You need to evaluate your relationship! A person who cannot commit is a person in doubt. you're not going to waste your time with that kind of person are you? Look for a person of action ladies and gentlemen. Don't be afraid. God reserves the best just for you. :) trust me.
If God is love then who are we to question his being magnanimous to us? think about it.. :)
